Chair of Physics Education Research

The aim of the Physics Education Research Unit is to provide, develop and disseminate effective and research-based physics education, to train and support physics education professionals within and outside the Department of Physics through active stakeholder involvement and various activities. The Physics Education Research Unit cooperates with physics teachers in Latvian schools, organises the National Physics Olympiad, and is involved in the organisation of the Latvian Open Physics Olympiad and the Latvian Open Astronomy Olympiad.
